We begin with an initial design phase, where we work closely with you to understand your aesthetic and functional preferences. Then, we move on to the tank design and construction, culminating in a stunning custom planted aquascape tailored just for you.
Past Custom-Built Projects
Photos of a custom-built, 2.4-metre high-tech aquarium featuring a fully automated water change and fertilisation system. This setup was specifically designed for a client seeking a self-sustaining experience, requiring no ongoing effort on their part—just a monthly maintenance visit provided by Qball Aquatics.
This video showcases a custom-designed aquarium, the result of a collaborative effort between Qball Aquatics, Custom Aquarium, and Luxe Aquariums. With distinctive dimensions (1.2m x 1.5m x 0.5m), the aquarium is purpose-built to serve as an elegant room divider. The layout features a concave aquascape, composed of carefully arranged driftwood and stone, creating a natural foundation for epiphytic plants to anchor and grow. The filtration system has been carefully designed and plumbed to enable quick and effortless water changes with just the turn of a valve.

My name is Quan, and I have over a decade of experience in aquascaping, built on more than 30 years in the fishkeeping hobby. I am passionate about reconnecting people with nature by creating beautiful, immersive, planted aquariums for homes and businesses.
Each project is a unique collaboration where I work closely with clients to bring their vision to life. From selecting the right plants and fish to designing stunning aquascapes, my goal is to create environments that inspire joy and relaxation.
